Youth Climate Corps British Columbia (YCCBC) stands at the forefront of inspiring the next generation to tackle the climate crisis head-on. This innovative campaign and program channel youth leadership into tangible climate resilience efforts, advocating for a sustainable, low-carbon future. By offering a living wage, YCCBC empowers individuals aged 17-29 to become active climate warriors, not just in theory but through practical, community-enhancing work. These young leaders engage in various climate action projects, tailored to their community’s needs and goals, propelling both local and global change.

At the heart of our mission, YCCBC focuses on several pivotal areas: enhancing local food security by supporting producers and distributors, improving energy efficiency through retrofitting, and reducing wildfire risks through educated, youth-led interventions.
